4 Falcons free agents we could see on the Steelers in 2024

With the hire of offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, the Pittsburgh Steelers have committed to real change in the offense system. This is all in an attempt to facilitate more scoring in a league where offenses have taken center stage.

Smith is going to need to work with the current Steelers to help them learn the system but could also bring in some of his former players to ease the transition and help this team. Here are four pending Atlanta free agents we could see on the Steelers in 2024.

RB/WR Cordarrelle Patterson

Patterson is the definition of an NFL multi-tasker and would provide veteran leadership and experience for the running backs, wide receivers and return specialists.

Hennessy was penciled in as a starter for 2023 before going on IR in August. He can start at guard or center and has experience at both. His experience in Smith’s offense could make him an ideal replacement for Mason Cole.

WR Khadarel Hodge

The Falcons have four wide receivers set to hit free agency and we could see any one of them being a veteran addition but we like Hodge here as a replacement in the slot for Allen Robinson who could be a salary cap casualty.

TE MyCole Pruitt

Pruitt followed Smith from the Tennessee Titans to the Falcons and we could see him doing the same here. He has a great deal of familiarity with Smith’s offense and still has some game left in him at 31 years old.
