Here are 31 Tuscaloosa area high school girls basketball players to watch in the postseason

The regular high school basketball season is quickly winding down.

In the AHSAA, area tournaments begin Feb. 2-7, with sub-regionals for schools in Class 1A-6A being held Feb. 9-10. From there, teams will compete in regionals from Feb. 13-21 then the state tournament Feb. 26-March 2. In the AISA, Elite Eight tournaments are scheduled for Feb. 2-6, with the Final Four tournament being held Feb. 7-9.

Here are 31 girls basketball players from the Tuscaloosa area to watch as postseason play begins.

Bri Turner

Hillcrest, Sr.

Why chosen: Turner is averaging 10 points and five rebounds over the last five games for the Lady Patriots.
