28 days until Saints' season opener: Every player to wear No. 28

Week 1 for the New Orleans Saints is only four weeks away now, as they set up to take on their division rival Carolina Panthers. With that, we continue our countdown for the Saints' jersey number history, today being No. 28. There are quite a few notable players to wear this number, including Latavius Murray, Keenan Lewis, Gene Atkins, and Alvin Maxson among others. Mark Ingram II wore No. 28 before switching to No. 22 later in his Saints career.

Here is the full list to wear No. 28 for the Saints from Pro Football Reference:
