2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic field is set; here's who'll be at Detroit Golf Club
The field for the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic is set and features perhaps the most star-studded group of PGA Tour players in its five-year history.
All 156 spots have been claimed, and 10 of the top-35 players in the World Golf Rankings will tee it up at the Detroit Golf Club on Thursday.
Including: No. 9 Max Homa; No. 14 Tony Finau, the defending champion; No. 17 Justin Thomas; No. 20 Collin Morikawa and No. 35 Rickie Fowler, who held a share of the lead entering the final round of the U.S. Open on Father's Day.
Both Ryder Cup captains are in the field ahead of this fall's showdown in Rome: Former World No. 1 Luke Donald for the Europeans, and former Masters and British Open champion Zach Johnson for the U.S.

Former U.S. Open champ Webb Simpson is also in the field, as is one-time PGA Championship winner Keegan Bradley coming off a win Sunday at the Travelers Championship.
Among the late additions to throw their names in the hat for Friday's deadline is Sam Bennett, last year's U.S. Amateur champion and Ludvig Aberg, the former Texas Tech star who earned his spot on the tour by finishing first in the PGA Tour U rankings.
The 52 three-man groupings for Rounds 1 and 2 have also been announced.
