Despite the fact that the Los Angeles Dodgers were a little delayed on their buses getting to the parade route due to traffic -- that's so LA, isn't it? -- the team that defeated the New York Yankees in five games this week got to celebrate the 2024 World Series win on Friday in the late morning.
There were shirtless athletes, lots of smiles and fans enjoying themselves along with the players and coaches. And, of course, there were photos from the day of celebrating in downtown Los Angeles.
