The NFL is already in the midst of its trade season, as star wide receivers Davante Adams and Amari Cooper both landed with new teams on Tuesday.

There will be more trades in the weeks to come ahead of the Nov. 5 deadline. We've outlined some prime targets and imagined some reasonable trade scenarios already.

Now, let's go through all 32 teams and identify a player we think makes sense as a trade candidate in the next couple of weeks. We'll admit, for a few of these, we were grasping for straws.

There are some contending teams extremely unlikely to trade any players. For the sake of the argument, we're still going to include candidates from all 32 teams, even if some of them are long shots.

Let's dive in and see which players make sense to land on new teams before the deadline.

Arizona Cardinals: RB DeeJay Dallas

Dallas is only returning punts for the Cardinals this season after playing a supporting role in the Seattle Seahawks offense the past few years. For an NFL team needing depth at running back and a pop on special teams, Arizona could afford to send Dallas elsewhere for a low-round draft pick.

Atlanta Falcons: DT Kentavius Street

Street has fallen out of the Falcons' defensive line rotation this season, as he's not the best scheme fit with this new Atlanta coaching staff. However, he remains a viable contributor with a 4-3 front. Any team needing a reliable veteran to rotate up front on defense should consider adding Street.

Baltimore Ravens: WR Tylan Wallace

Wallace only had two catches for 31 yards this season, and it's worth wondering if the former fourth-round pick could play a bigger role elsewhere. He might need a career reset, and Baltimore could afford to send him to a new team for a low-round draft pick. It might be what's best for Wallace's future in the league. Plus, he'll be a free agent after this season anyhow.

Buffalo Bills: S Mike Edwards

The Bills don't really have any players that scream "trade them!" However, the team has a good veteran safety in Edwards who could start on another team. If there's another NFL team that needs a starting safety, calling Buffalo and offering a late-round pick for Edwards isn't a bad idea.

Carolina Panthers: WR Diontae Johnson

The Panthers might be veering on a lost season, and trading pending free agents is probably a smart play for Carolina. Johnson is a very solid wide receiver who could help a contending team tremendously. The team could snag a late-round pick for the impactful wideout.

Chicago Bears: WR Velus Jones Jr.

Jones has never quite found his place with the Bears, but his blistering speed might make him an intriguing reclamation project for another team. It's not to say it would work, but for, say, a conditional seventh-round pick, he's more than worth a flier. He's only 27 years old, after all.

Cincinnati Bengals: TE Tanner Hudson

The Bengals have tremendous depth at tight end, which makes a solid player like Hudson expendable. If your team needs an extra veteran at the position, Hudson is solid. He's got two catches for 18 yards in 2024. It's not as likely he factors in more to the passing plan than he already does.

Cleveland Browns: DE Za'Darius Smith

The Browns aren't going anywhere this season if quarterback Deshaun Watson isn't benched. That makes a veteran edge rusher like Smith an extremely valuable trade asset at this point in the season. Cleveland could get an early Day 3 pick from a contender for Smith. This is intriguing.

Dallas Cowboys: RB Deuce Vaughn

Vaughn is a 2023 sixth-round pick who just isn't getting the run a young running back needs to really find his footing in the NFL. Dallas could afford to trade the second-year player for roughly what they drafted him for (a sixth-rounder) and allow him a chance to play more elsewhere.

Denver Broncos: TE Greg Dulcich

After posting a 411-yard rookie season, Dulcich hasn't quite gotten his footing in Sean Payton's offense. While he missed most of 2023 with injury, his 2024 has gotten off to a quiet start. If there's a team out there that needs help at tight end, calling Denver about Dulcich isn't a bad idea.

Detroit Lions: CB Kindle Vildor

Vildor is probably the only player you can find on the Lions roster that is hypothetically tradable. This probably won't happen, to be honest. However, for the sake of the exercise, we'll list him here just in case there's another NFL team that could use him more than Detroit does right now.

Green Bay Packers: WR Bo Melton

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Bo Melton (80) is shown during the first quarter of their game Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Green Bay Packers beat the Arizona Cardinals 34-13.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Bo Melton (80) is shown during the first quarter of their game Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Green Bay Packers beat the Arizona Cardinals 34-13.

Melton is the most likely member of a loaded Packers wide receiver group that has a slim chance of being traded ahead of the deadline. Don't count on it, but this Packers roster doesn't have a lot of options right now.

Houston Texans: CB Myles Bryant

Bryant is a former starter for the New England Patriots, and he's buried on the depth chart in Houston. For a team needing a cornerback, Bryant is actually a pretty good option for October.

Indianapolis Colts: C Danny Pinter

For any team worried about the center position, Pinter has starting experience and will be a free agent next spring. Indianapolis could send him to a team with a need at the position for the rest of the season. He might not be elite, but Pinter can do the job for the short term.

Jacksonville Jaguars: S Andre Cisco

Cisco is a quality starting safety who sounds ready to play elsewhere. For any team looking for a starter long-term at the position, trading for Cisco now and going ahead and signing him to a new deal would be a smart move to get ahead of the spring free-agent market at the position.

Kansas City Chiefs: WR Skyy Moore

It really says something about Moore's future in Kansas City that he has no catches this season with the Chiefs so depleted at the wide receiver position. Moore needs a reset, and we imagine he's not long for this roster. Whether it's a trade now or a trade later, it's what's best for both sides.

Las Vegas Raiders: G Cody Whitehair

The Raiders have 2024 second-round guard Jackson Powers-Johnson waiting in the wings. Whitehair will be a free agent after this season. Las Vegas should go ahead and get the rookie some starting snaps this season and allow Whitehair to play elsewhere via a trade.

Los Angeles Chargers: G Jamaree Salyer

Salyer is a player from a former Chargers regime who has become a backup after starting for Los Angeles to start his career. For a team looking for a young, quality guard at this point in the season, Salyer is an intriguing option.

Los Angeles Rams: OLB Michael Hoecht

The Rams are in that weird spot of having a history of turning it around after a rough start and also not necessarily being guaranteed to make that turnaround this season. If Los Angeles feels it'd be better off building assets for the future, a rotational pass-rusher like Hoecht could attract interest.

Miami Dolphins: DE Calais Campbell

Campbell is just one of those outstanding veterans at the end of their careers you want to see play for a contender. If the Dolphins can't get it going this season, we'd love to see him elsewhere.

Minnesota Vikings: RB Myles Gaskin

Gaskin has fallen behind on the Vikings' depth chart after the team traded for running back Cam Akers. If there's a team that needs depth at the position, Gaskin presents a solid veteran option.

New England Patriots: DE Deatrich Wise Jr.

The Patriots are in the midst of a rebuild, and a good veteran edge rusher like Wise could really help a contending team that needs more help on the defensive line.

New Orleans Saints: DE Cameron Jordan

Jordan is a future Hall of Famer who is nearing the end of his career. If New Orleans can't get it going this season after its 2-0 start, trading Jordan to a contender would be a classy way of saying thank you to one of the franchise's all-time great players. Maybe the Saints figure it out?

New York Giants: WR Darius Slayton

The Giants are more likely to be looking to the future than the present by the end of the season. Slayton could help any number of offenses that need extra help in the passing game.

New York Jets: WR Mike Williams

With outside linebacker Haason Reddick already an obvious candidate, let's also list Williams. He's going to fall behind on the depth chart with Davante Adams' arrival in New York. Another team could really use him in the passing game, we bet.

Philadelphia Eagles: CB Avonte Maddox

With Cooper DeJean taking Maddox's role on the Eagles' defense, it makes the cornerback an intriguing trade option for teams needing more help in the secondary.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Whoever isn't starting at quarterback

We're going to suggest the quarterback between Justin Fields and Russell Wilson that the Steelers don't intend to start for the rest of the season. Playing musical chairs at the position isn't wise.

San Francisco 49ers: QB Joshua Dobbs

It's time for Dobbs to get his chance to pilot an NFL team for a few weeks and play some inspired football. The 49ers have quarterback Brandon Allen. We need to see Dobbs start this season!

Seattle Seahawks: OLB Trevis Gipson

Gipson hasn't made an impact on the Seahawks this season just yet. Sending him to a pass-rush needy team makes sense since Seattle has options at the position.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: G Royce Newman

(Photo by Thearon W. Henderson/Getty Images)

Newman has started 24 games in his NFL career, and he's a luxury depth piece on the Buccaneers offensive line. If there's a team in need at guard, Tampa Bay could gain a low-round pick for him.

Tennessee Titans: WR DeAndre Hopkins

Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (10) warms up during the Tennessee Titans mandatory mini-camp at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park in Nashville, Tenn., Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

Hopkins is a future Hall of Famer who deserves the chance to play for a contender this season. The Titans look like they're in a transitional season and can land a solid draft pick by sending Hopkins to another team before the deadline.

Washington Commanders: DE Jamin Davis

Davis was a healthy scratch this past week and a former first-round draft pick of a former Washington regime. He might need a fresh start for his career, and a trade makes sense.
