Yasmin Hani denies breakup was just a gimmick
6 Nov - Yasmin Hani is denying the notion that her breakup with Alif Hadi was nothing more than a gimmick.
The actress, who surprised many by attending the live recording of a singing competition alongside the actor in Shah Alam recently, said that those who knew them would know that they would never do such a thing for publicity.
"We have our own thing. We didn't even announce our breakup when it happened, so what do you mean it was a gimmick?" she added.
Yasmin stated that their bond with each other seems to remain strong as they work in the same industry.
"If I have a campaign video I needed to do, he would help me, and vice versa. Alif knows my whole family, and I've known his family. It's just the question of whether it will happen or not," she said.
Yasmin added that her kids are also the reason why the two are still in contact with one another, saying, "My sons were always asking about him and wanting to see him."
As for the notion that his family disapproved of her, Yasmin dismissed it, saying that she and her kids have met with Alif's mother.
It is noted that the two seemed to have reconciled following Alif's admission last week that they have broken up a few months prior.
