We are aware some users are experiencing issues accessing their Yahoo Mail using third-party mail clients. Removing and re-entering your Yahoo Mail password in the email client should solve this. Read our help article for more information and steps. Add, delete, or edit a send-only address in Yahoo Mail

Send messages that look like they're coming from another one of your email addresses without leaving your Yahoo Mail account. After a send-only account is added, select that address in the "From" field while you're composing or replying to emails.

Add a send-only address

  1. Click the Settings icon Image of the Settings icon. | click More Settings Image of the More icon..
  2. Click Mailboxes.
  3. Click the More icon Image of the Options icon in Calendar. next to "Send-only email address."
  4. Click Add.
  5. Enter the send-only email address.
  6. Click Verify.
  7. Open the email and follow the instructions to verify the address.

Delete a send-only address

  1. Click the Settings icon Image of the Settings icon. | click More Settings Image of the More icon..
  2. Click Mailboxes.
  3. Click your send-only address.
  4. Click Remove mailbox.
  5. Click Remove mailbox again to confirm.
  6. Click Save.

Edit the "From name" of a send-only address

  1. Click the Settings icon Image of the Settings icon. | click More Settings Image of the More icon..
  2. Click Mailboxes.
  3. Click your send-only address.
  4. Enter your name and click Save.
