We are aware some users are experiencing issues accessing their Yahoo Mail using third-party mail clients. Removing and re-entering your Yahoo Mail password in the email client should solve this. Read our help article for more information and steps. You may also access Yahoo Mail on the web at mail.yahoo.com or using the Yahoo Mail app for iOS or Android.

Set up or remove a Yahoo Mail account in the iOS Mail app

All apple mobile devices come with a pre-installed email app. While this app won't give you access to more advanced features found in the Yahoo Mail app, such as managing folders, account info, and themes, you can add a number of Yahoo Mail accounts to send and receive emails from it.

Note - Older iOS versions do not support automated setup. Manually add a Yahoo Mail account using IMAP settings if the automated option is missing.

  1. Open the iOS Settings app.
  2. Tap Mail.
  3. Tap Accounts.
