Create, edit and delete contact lists in Yahoo Mail

From the contacts you already have in your Yahoo Contacts, set up a contact list with a group of people you often send the same emails to. For example, you email the same content to 3 friends every week. Instead, create a contact list called "Friends". Send one email to your group by typing its name: Friends in the "To" field of a new email.

Create a new contact list

  1. Click the Contacts icon Image of the Contacts icon in Mail..
  2. Click the Lists tab.
  3. Click + Create list.
  4. Alternatively, select + Create list from the drop-down menu.
  5. Name the list and add your contacts.
  6. Click Save.

Add more contacts to a list

  1. Click the Contacts icon Image of the Contacts icon in Mail..
  2. Click the Lists tab.
  3. Select the list you want to edit from the drop-down menu.
  4. Under "Add contacts" type the name or address of contacts you want to add, and select it from the suggestions to add it to the list.
  5. Click Save.

Remove a contact from a list

  1. Click the Contacts icon Image of the Contacts icon in Mail..
  2. Click the Lists tab.
  3. Select the list you want to edit from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Click the X next to the email address you want to delete.
  6. Click Save.

Delete an existing contact list

  1. Click the Contacts icon Image of the Contacts icon in Mail..
  2. Click the Lists tab.
  3. Select the list you want to edit from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Click the More options icon Image of the More icon. | Delete list.
  6. Click OK to confirm you want the list deleted.
