Install or uninstall iOS apps

Yahoo apps for iOS bring the full mobile experience of your favorite Yahoo products to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch!

Install iOS apps

  1. Open the App Store Apple app store icon on your device.
  2. Tap Search.
  3. In the search field, enter Yahoo.
  4. Tap the name of the app you want to install.
  5. Tap Install.
  6. Tap OK to download and install the app.

Once your download starts, the app's icon will show on your Home screen with a status bar showing the progress of the download. When it's done, the app icon will change from translucent to solid so you'll know it's ready to use!

Uninstall iOS apps

  1. Tap and hold the app you want to uninstall.
    - All app icons start to shake.
  2. Tap X in the corner of the app.
  3. Tap Delete.
  4. Press your device's Home button to re-lock your screen.

Caution - Uninstalling apps also deletes all app data.
