Clear app data and cache in Yahoo Mail for Android

If emails or attachments aren’t opening, or are lagging, your app cache or temporary files could be to blame. Tune up the Yahoo Mail app by clearing your app cache. This deletes your temporary files, then refreshes them, so you don’t need to worry about losing any data.

  1. Open the Android settings app.
  2. Tap Apps.
  3. Tap App manager.
  4. Tap Yahoo Mail.
  5. Tap Storage.
  6. Tap Clear data and Clear cache.
