Wall Street keeps Fed in focus, TikTok heads to court: Yahoo Finance

Investors expect the Federal Reserve to cut rates at its meeting on Wednesday. But the big question is: How much will they cut by, 25 or 50 basis points? As Wall Street awaits the decision, the S&P 500 (^GSPC) is back trading near its all-time high.

In a Washington DC court, TikTok’s parent company ByteDance will argue that a law that would force the Chinese company to divest its US assets is unconstitutional. The so-called “TikTok ban” states that ByteDance must divest TikTok in the US by January 19 or else it will be banned in the United States.

Trending tickers on Yahoo Finance include Intel (INTC), Apple (AAPL), Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT, DJTWW).
