AI companies need to transition to creating 'tangible' outcomes

Both Big Tech and US lawmakers are willing to spend tens of billions of dollars in the next few years to further develop and adopt AI models. But while more companies are unveiling new artificial intelligence products, are these offerings actually going to bring about the results and drivers they are looking for?

BCG Global Chair Rich Lesser sits down with Catalysts to talk about the transition tech companies need to take to transition AI projects into "tangible" outcomes.

"And the challenge is if you take a 'thousand flowers bloom' approach, you don't translate anything into real outcomes at scale. And so we see companies more and more focused on what are the key outcomes that you can drive that meaningfully move overall business performance," Lesser says.
