Sodexo UK & Ireland (UK&I) has appointed Lynsey O’Keefe as the new CEO of corporate services and energy and resources divisions.

O'Keefe's role will cover a diverse array of locations, from corporate offices to offshore platforms.

Her background in food services and facilities management positions O'Keefe as a key player in enhancing Sodexo’s offerings of sustainable food choices and workplace experiences.

Most recently, she was managing director for a flexible workspace provider.

Her career spans more than two decades, with senior roles at prominent companies such as Compass and DHL.

The corporate services and energy and resources divisions of Sodexo deliver a range of services including workplace services, facilities management and food services to 670 sites across the UK and Ireland.

The business currently has a workforce of more than 6,000 in the UK and 2,500 in Ireland, serving clients across industries including professional and financial services, pharmaceuticals, energy, media and technology.

Sodexo UK & Ireland CEO Sean Haley said: “We are delighted to welcome Lynsey to Sodexo. Her significant experience in food and workplace services, combined with her proven commercial success, will undoubtedly help us to continue to transform and grow our business with our clients in both the corporate and energy sectors.”

O'Keefe said: “With exciting new developments in Sodexo’s food brands and services, and workplace experience high on the C-suite agenda of many organisations, I am looking forward to helping drive the business to grow even further and to meeting the teams who every day are delivering the very best for our clients and customers in whatever environment they work.”

In September 2024, Sodexo UK&I appointed Tracey Smith as the new CEO of its schools and universities division.
