Global lifestyle brand Guess announced that Dennis Secor has been appointed interim chief financial officer, effective Aug. 26. Secor is a proven finance leader with deep knowledge of the apparel industry, previously serving as Guess’ CFO from 2006 to 2012. He will succeed Markus Neubrand who is stepping down to pursue another opportunity. Guess has initiated the search for its next CFO, expected to be based out of the company’s headquarters in Lugano, Switzerland, with the help of an executive search firm. Neubrand will remain at Guess through Sept. 30 to facilitate a seamless transition.

Omnichannel order management and inventory systems platform Fabric announced the appointment of industry veterans Matt Kaminski as chief revenue officer and Jay Topper as chief customer officer.

Kaminski has led go-to-market teams in enterprise software for over two decades. He comes to Fabric from Power Factors where he served as chief sales officer, and before that, spent eight years with Salesforce, most recently serving as VP of enterprise sales. At Fabric, Kaminski will be responsible for revenue growth globally. Topper has decades of retail industry experience, joining Fabric from Chico’s FAS, where he most recently served as chief digital officer. At Fabric, Topper will continue to build and drive the next phase of innovation, strategy and growth for Fabric’s platform.

Oeko-Tex

Swiss chemical management company Oeko-Tex has named Dr. Alfred J. Beerli as chief executive officer. He brings experience in strategic management consulting and operational, IT and knowledge management. In this new role, Beerli will further develop the Oeko-Tex portfolio, focusing on cooperation with government institutions, initiatives and trade associations, for which he has experience and an extensive network.
