China’s Inceptio Technology delivers 400 autonomous trucks

In this article:

Inceptio Technology has announced it has completed a delivery of 400 Inceptio-powered autonomous heavy-duty trucks to ZTO Express Inc, an express delivery company in China.

The firm claims this milestone marks the largest single delivery of intelligent heavy-duty trucks globally. Last year it made a delivery of 300 trucks to Yunyi Transport, an international express logistics company.

The trucks, jointly developed with Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. are pre-loaded with Inceptio’s Autonomous Driving System.

The developer of autonomous driving technologies says this delivery will optimise ZTO Express’ logistics network and reduce operational costs.

Julian Ma, Founder and CEO of Inceptio Technology, said: “This milestone delivery to ZTO Express marks a pivotal moment in our mission to revolutionise logistics with autonomous driving technology.”

ZTO Express says it is focused on expanding its presence across the domestic logistics market. This collaboration will further support its growth.

"China’s Inceptio Technology delivers 400 autonomous trucks" was originally created and published by Just Auto, a GlobalData owned brand.
