Squarespace and Permira on Monday said they reached an agreement to increase the buyout offer price to take the website-development company private amid criticism about the deal. Under the terms of the deal, Squarespace shareholders will now receive $46.50 for each share they own, an increase of 5.7% over the previously agreed offer price of $44 a share announced in May. The deal brings the transaction value to around $7.2 billion from the previous bid of more than $6.6 billion.
