Who is Keanu Reeves's girlfriend, Alexandra Grant?
It appears as though the “Sad Keanu” era is finally over for Keanu Reeves.
The 55-year-old actor sent social media into overdrive after he arrived at the LACMA Art + Film Gala presented by Gucci hand-in-hand with girlfriend Alexandra Grant.
The notoriously private actor and the 46-year-old artist posed for cameras on the red carpet, their third public appearance as a couple. In May, Reeves and Grant arrived at the MOCA Benefit 2019, followed by a similar red carpet showing a month later where they posed holding hands at the Saint Laurent Men’s Spring-Summer fashion show in Malibu.

So who is Alexandra Grant?
Grant, a Los Angeles-based artist, divided her time growing up between Mexico City, Washington, D.C. and Paris. Although she told Los Angeles Weekly magazine that she “can’t imagine doing anything differently,” she initially attended college for mathematics before pursuing a graduate program in the arts in San Francisco.
Grant has been a longtime friend and collaborator with Reeves since they met in 2009. The pair have worked together twice, with Grant illustrating Reeve’s 2011 book, “Ode to Happiness” and co-authoring the 2016 photography and poetry project, “Shadows.”

In 2017, Reeves and Grant launched their own publishing company, X Artists’ Books. In a joint interview with Los Angeles Magazine, the pair revealed they were inspired to publish books that “don’t really have a place because they’re between genres.”
Grant told the magazine, “Some people are the kind of dreamers who have a lot of ideas but don’t like to get things done. I think we both like to have the idea and get it into the world.”
Aside from showcasing her artwork internationally, Grant is a dedicated philanthropist, raising money for Los Angeles art projects and charities through her organization, grantLOVE.
