What's actually worth it from Old Navy? 11 styles worth buying, according to an Old Navy employee

I'm a sales associate at Old Navy and I tried on a ton of clothes so you don't have to.

Working at Old Navy has its perks. One of which is that I'm among the first to know about any upcoming deals and the brand's latest collections. But really, being surrounded by cute clothes is the best part of the job. I’ve tried a lot of pieces from past and present collections, and these 11 products have my employee stamp of approval. They’re super cozy and snug, practical for everyday wear and incredibly stylish from head to toe.

Hands down, this is the softest shirt I’ve ever worn. I love how it hugs my body in a flattering way. Usually, snug-fitted shirts feel tight on me and aren’t the most comfortable, but this one is far from it. I do wish the top was longer and not as cropped, but overall it's stylish and will go with anything.

I admit, I was nervous trying these on because I thought they wouldn't be comfortable. But after seeing people buying them, I finally gave in. To my surprise, they had a very relaxed fit and were stretchy enough to sit comfortably.

This jumpsuit is one of my absolute favourites on this list. I am obsessed with the shape of the neckline. I would have preferred if the waist area were less fitted, but I like how it compliments my figure either way. Overall, it’s a really comfortable and stylish piece.

Super comfy and relaxed, I love the length of this dress and its embroidered sleeves. It’s got this coquette-esque feel to it, and I love that it has pockets, too. The frilled neckline gives it personality, and I like how the waist area hugs the body, making the dress work for any body type.

This was honestly one of the cutest tops I tried on. I can’t get enough of the deep maroon colour, and I love how it’s sold as a set rather than on its own. The top is so soft and has a relaxed fit, making it super comfortable. It has matching shorts and also comes in four other colours.

These shorts complement the top so well. It’s a slim fit and I love how the drawstring wraps around my waist and isn’t too tight. I also like the straight cut of the shorts, and in some ways, it even makes my legs look a bit longer. It's by far one of my favourite sets at Old Navy. It’s soft and stretchy and is also available in a longer pant version.

I haven’t stopped thinking about this jumpsuit since trying it on. It’s stylish, slim fitting and incredibly comfortable. At first, I didn’t think it was my style, but that changed the minute I put it on. It’s super soft and has such a flattering cut, flattering any body type.

I swear by Old Navy’s active section, and their hoodies are not ones to pass up. I love the zipped pockets on the side of this fleece hoodie and how cozy it feels. I wish the length were a bit longer, but overall, it’s extremely comfortable.

If I could, I’d buy all of Old Navy’s active leggings. They’re super stretchy yet incredibly snug. The pockets fit your phone and they feel high-quality. I already own a ton and a couple that have lasted since college.

Simple yet sleek, the material feels high-quality — you can tell it’s 100 per cent cotton. It does run very large, so I’d suggest sizing down if you don’t want it to feel oversized. Other than that, the shirt is your typical white button-down and pairs great with any denim.

I am forever obsessed with Old Navy jeans. I already own more than five pairs, including the one I tried on. They’re super stretchy which makes them such a comfortable fit. Not to mention, you can pair them with absolutely anything. My fave is the mid-rise boot-cut. They're a great fit around the thigh and hip, with a touch of flare around the ankles.
