How to Watch November's Full Moon, the Last Supermoon of the Year
The full moon on Nov. 15 will be the last supermoon of 2024
Skygazers will have one more opportunity to catch a supermoon in 2024! November's full moon — best known as the Beaver Moon — will peak on Nov. 15.
According to NASA, a supermoon occurs when the moon is at its closest position to Earth, making it appear bigger and brighter in the night sky. The November supermoon is extra special because it is the fourth consecutive supermoon we've witnessed since August's blue moon.
Astrologer Kyle Thomas previously told PEOPLE that full moons are considered times that bring heightened emotions, impulsive behavior and plenty of dramatic events. During a supermoon, that energy will be felt tenfold because of the close proximity to Earth and will affect the collective from Nov. 12 through Nov. 19.
