Waitress claps back at teens who makeup-shamed her instead of leaving a tip
The growing number of beauty gurus online have also spawned a whole new breed of Internet trolls: makeup-shamers. Recently, two teen girls took their makeup-shaming into the real world when they criticized their waitress’s contour skills instead of giving her a tip.
The waitress, known as wingedandcontoured on Instagram, posted a photo of the receipt in question on Wednesday. Under the tip section, the teen girls wrote a big “0” along with: ‘Here’s a tip: contour is supposed to blend.”
But she didn’t let their criticism bother her.
“When two children come in and don’t have enough money to pay for food,” she captioned. In her post, she noted how those girls attempted to hurt her feelings over her makeup skills, but thankfully, she knew her makeup was flawless that day.

“Story: Two girls around 16-years-old came in and I was their waitress. I took great care of them and everything was great until I dropped the check off,” the waitress stated in her post. “When I returned to pick it up, they demanded to speak to a manager because they “didn’t have enough money” and I “didn’t tell them exactly how much their food was going to cost them,” even though they had the menus for a good 20 minutes before they decided what they wanted.”
The waitress said that the manager refused to discount their food because they shouldn’t have ordered food they couldn’t pay for.
“It was not my responsibility to tell them while they were ordering how much it costs after tax and everything,” the waitress concluded. “They ‘magically’ had a card to put it on and this is the ‘tip’ they left me.”
The waitress’s post resonated with hundreds of readers who not only complimented her makeup skills, but supported the way she handled the teenage tip trollers.
“I apologize on behalf of those arrogant teens who obviously don’t know the true meaning behind makeup,” wrote one commenter. “You decide how you want to look. Don’t let them phase you girl! They also obviously don’t know what to do with there lives. Your makeup is flawless and i would love for you to do mine any day.”

Another supporter wrote: “They obviously don’t have enough money to get their eyes fixed either! You look gorgeous girl! They’re lucky your beautiful face was the only thing beat to that day!”
“Your makeup is GORGEOUS,” commented another. “I wish I could contour like you!! Screw snobby b–ches.”
We’re betting this is the last time those girls troll tip another waitress, what do you think?
