Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Alek Manoah and wife Marielena share wedding photos from Puerto Rico

Alek and Marielena Manoah are giving fans a glimpse of their destination wedding reception.

The Toronto Blue Jays pitcher and his longtime girlfriend Marielena Manoah are now officially husband and wife after their nuptials this past weekend in Puerto Rico. On Tuesday, the newlyweds took to Instagram with a carousel of candid pictures from their reception.

In the photos, the happy couple celebrated tying the knot by cutting their cake and joining their guests on the dance floor. In another snap, the Manoahs posed with their wedding party, which included a few familiar faces from the Toronto Blue Jays.

Marielena stunned in a strapless white mermaid gown with a bustier top featuring a sweetheart neckline and peplum detailing. In a departure from tradition, Alek opted for a unique ensemble, sporting a white and green blazer paired with black trousers and white and green Nike sneakers.

"La fiesta," the caption reads alongside a microphone and champagne glass emojis.

Fans met the post with well-wishes and congratulations to the Manoahs on their relationship milestone.

"So beautiful. Congrats," a fan commented.

Alek uploaded a second carousel of Instagram photos from the wedding and reception, including some heartwarming moments like him lifting Marielena and kissing her as they walked down the aisle after saying "I do."

"What a blessing! The Manoahs," he captioned it.

Earlier this week, Marielena shared another peek their special day on Instagram, with candid photos of their first kiss and the moment before their walk back down the aisle as husband and wife.

The couple, who have been together since their college days in 2015, announced their engagement one year ago after the MLBer popped the question on New Years Eve.

Marielena shared a set of candid photos documenting the proposal paired with the caption: "Best way to start the year… a million times!"

Fellow Blue Jays player Jordan Romano and his wife Sam, as well as Zach Pop and his fiancée Taye Anita attended the Manoah wedding. Anita took to Instagram with a series of photos documenting the weekend with photos of herself and Pop, the bridesmaids — and the bride.

"Congratulations to Mr & Mrs. Manoah!," she captioned the post. "Yesterday was out of this world. We love you! Leaving Puerto Rico with some of the best memories. We danced every night (and learned how to salsa), and have more smile lines from laughing so hard!"
