Tessa Virtue glitters at Toronto Pride Parade: 'Glamazon'
Tessa Virtue is no stranger to a sparkly ensemble.
On Sunday, the Canadian ice dancer took to her Instagram stories to share her glitzy beauty look for the Toronto Pride Parade, which took place on June 26.
The 33-year-old beamed as she showed off her glittery glam, complete with eye-popping pink eyeshadow, thick black eyeliner and a nude lip. On the story, the Olympic gold medallist tagged her makeup artist, Rebecca Pilozo-Melara, and Toronto-based hairstylist Kelly Araujo.
Araujo styled Virtue's chocolate-brown tresses in loose waves with two pigtails on the top of her head. The stylist added face-framing strands and completed the look with tiny pearls and blue and yellow rhinestones, which she glued on the left and right sides of Virtue's head.
Virtue, who walked in the Pride Parade with Adidas, rocked a rainbow-hued Adidas T-shirt and white mini skirt.
Araujo shared a video of the stunning look on Instagram with the caption, "I look forward to any opportunity to play and be creative! I loved creating this look for Tessa Virtue and today's Pride Parade!"
"Pride 2022 has felt super special this year! Grateful I was able to celebrate with friends and loved ones. It’s been a vibe. Sending you all so much love! Happy Pride Friends! Stay loud. Stay proud! Today and everyday," the famed Toronto hairdresser concluded.
Fans loved Virtue's funky look and praised her glam team for "a job well done."
"Such a fantastic look!" commented a follower. "I freaking love this, it's so good!"
"Love this look, it's so fun!" wrote another.
"Adorable and gorgeous, what else is there to say?" said another.
"This look screams Pride. I'm obsessed!" commented someone else.
"Ultimate Glamazon alert! A job well done to the glam team!" raved another.

The Adidas brand ambassador attended the event as part of the sportswear brand's contingent. However, she wasn't the only famous athlete marching in this household parade.
Virtue walked alongside the Toronto Maple Leaf's forward Michael Bunting, defencemen Mark Giordano and Morgan Rielly (Virtue's boyfriend), as well as Leafs president Brendan Shanahan.
