Tanya Kim says she's 'rooting for you' in new motivational video: 'You rock'
Tanya Kim wants to see her fans succeed.
The Canadian television personality posted an Instagram Reel on Tuesday showing her fans some motivational love. In the video, the former "etalk" co-host wore a blue and white tie-dye buttoned shirt, dark grey jeans and a high ponytail. She accessorized the look with an Apple Watch, silver hoop earrings, a double silver chain necklace and two beaded bracelets, including one from The More Girl Project that reads, "Woman up."
"Baby girl, I just want to remind you: You cannot compete with me. Because I want you to win, too," Kim mouthed to an audio clip that played along with the video.
In the caption to her post, Kim added a touch of inspiration for her nearly 29,000 followers.
"Just wanted to remind you that I’m rooting for you and sending you love," Kim wrote, while adding a heart hands emoji.
The Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. native also included a quote from 81-year-old former Indian actress, Bindu.
"'Women who understand how powerful they are do not give into envy over meaningless things," Kim quoted. "'Instead, they fight to maintain the beautiful bond of the sisterhood. These are the real women who know that we need each other's love and support to survive in this world. Love is the essence of being a woman. We must be that light of love that seals the bond and unique beauty of our sisterhood.'"
In the comments section, fans showed their appreciation for Kim's motivating words, with many noting her stunning beauty.
"You are such a winner," one person shared.
"Simply gorgeous!" commented another.
"Love this," a fan replied, along with a red heart emoji.
"Thank you! You rock, TK!!!" another added.
Using social media to spread positivity and inspiration isn't new for Kim. In August, she shared another Instagram Reel of herself encouraging her followers to embrace their unique selves.
"This is the energy. You are not for everyone, and that is more than OK. Just think about how boring and dull this world would be if we were simply cookie cut-outs of one another. So just... be you, do you, for you. And always choose kindness and compassion over meanness and inhumanity," Kim penned in the caption to her video.
On that clip, fans were quick to show their appreciation for Kim's words.
"The haters get upset just seeing how you are effortlessly the one," one fan shared.
"Only taking advice from you now!" someone replied.
"You inspire me all the time, love," a follower raved while adding four red heart emojis.
"Was it Gary Vaynerchuk who said you need to polarize people? Some people will love you, others will hate you. That’s better than the whole world feeling neither about what you are doing," someone else chimed in, while Kim replied: "Truth!"
