Siera Bearchell advocates for inclusivity with pregnant swimsuit campaign: 'Stunning'
The former Miss Universe Canada praised Bikini Village for featuring her, even though she was pregnant.
Siera Bearchell is advocating for inclusivity.
On Tuesday, the 30-year-old former Miss Universe Canada took to Instagram with a video featuring footage of herself modelling swimsuits while she was in the third trimester of her pregnancy.
In the clip, the Saskatchewan-native noted in on-screen text that she collaborated with Bikini Village while she was eight months pregnant with her daughter, whom she welcomed earlier this year.
Bearchell paired the post with a caption praising the Canadian swimwear brand for working with her during her pregnancy and helping represent different "shapes and stages of life."
"Eight months ago," she penned to her more than 170,000 followers. "I absolutely love that [Bikini Village] was open to working with me during this stage of my life because you hardly ever see pregnant women in swimsuit campaigns.
"I know it's not relatable for every single person, but I think it's helpful to see different shapes and stages of life represented. Even if it doesn't apply to you at that moment or phase in your own life. I wish I would have seen more of this growing up!"
In the comments, fans met Bearchell's Instagram Reel with supportive messages.

In a separate Instagram post earlier this week, Bearchell doubled down and applauded Bikini Village for not only working with her during her pregnancy, but sharing photos of her baby bump on the brand's official website.
"I've been working with [Bikini Village] for two years now and I love that they worked with me when I was eight months pregnant and shared those photos to their website," Bearchell wrote. "Speaking of, they've featured these photos and more right on their website!"
Fans also spread the love on that post, with many noting Bearchell's beauty.
