Rosie Perez, 57, wows fans on first Oscars red carpet in 28 years: 'A vision'
After a 28-year hiatus, Rosie Perez just made her return to the Oscars red carpet — and her fans are loving it.
The 57-year-old actress attended the 94th Academy Awards on Sunday night as a presenter, and wowed fans online in a crimson Christian Siriano gown with a dramatic train.
Fans online couldn't get enough of "The Flight Attendant" star's look, which marked her first Oscars red carpet appearance since 1994.
Her last invite came when the then-29-year-old was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in “Fearless.”
One Twitter user noted that Perez "brought the fire to the red carpet," while another called the star "a vision."
Another called this red carpet appearance "the best Rosie Perez has ever looked."
"The colour, the style, the fit is perfect," raved one Twitter user. "Christian Siriano doesn’t miss."

Siriano also revealed a behind-the scenes look at some pre-Oscars shenanigans, sharing a photo of Perez as she enjoyed a moment in the sun.
"How my Oscars day is going! I loveee creating for [Rosie Perez] so much," he wrote.
Perez' red carpet appearance was a nostalgic one in more than one way, as this year marks 30 years since the release of the 1992 film "White Men Can't Jump."
Her co-star Wesley Snipes was also in attendance, and hit the red carpet in a dramatic wine-coloured ensemble.

Last year, Perez opened up about not being invited to the Oscars in more than two decades.
"Not even to sit in the audience, not to present, nothing—and I'm a member," Perez told Variety. "I love the Academy Awards. I cheer on my peers, but it hurts. It's like when your home team doesn't ask you to come back into the stadium after you got up to bat and hit the home run."
