While many fans will recognize Robert Pattinson from his time as Edward Cullen in the massively-successful “Twilight” franchise, the 33-year-old star has come a long way since his days as a teen heartthrob.
In a recent interview with British GQ, the actor revealed some of his biggest challenges following his rapid ascent to fame, and although he admits that he isn’t being hounded by the paparazzi as much as he used to be, Pattinson is still cautious while he’s out in public.
“I have so many terror memories of the paparazzi… and I still don’t full-on protective armour, hood up, hat down,” the actor shared.
As for his early fashion choices, Pattinson looks back and laughs at some of his more questionable looks. An outfit that particularly stands out in his memory is from a red carpet appearance at the 2005 premiere of “Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire.”

“I was wearing leather trousers with these cowboy boots and a velvet jacket,” he recalls. “I mean, it literally looked like a kid had gone into a dressing-up box.”
Now that he’s embracing life in his thirties, Pattinson’s fashion sense has matured along with his skincare routine.
“As I am getting older, I’m definitely noticing things,” the star revealed. “I used to not do anything at all up until a few years ago, and I can definitely see the difference [in my face now], especially if I am travelling a lot.”
Pattinson’s go-to pick for keeping his skin looking its best? Sheet masks.
“It’s very ‘American Psycho,’ but those sheet masks make a massive difference,” he shared. “I’m fully committed and I even put an eye mask on over the top too...Self-care is important.”
While we won’t be seeing much of his face in his upcoming role in Matt Reeves’ “The Batman,” it’s nice to know that skincare is important to the future Bruce Wayne.
