Quinta Brunson is 'being an east coast cutie' in new photos: 'The last pic is iconic'
Quinta Brunson is living an east coast dream.
The 32-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a carousel of photos taken during a trip to the east coast.
In two of the shots, the "Abbott Elementary" actress and writer wore a long-sleeve navy blue gown with two-toned pink ruffles made by Prabal Gurung. Worn for a recent appearance on "Good Morning America," Brunson paired the gown with orange open-toe heels and double hoop earrings, as she posed in front of a graffiti wall.
The "Big Mouth" star also included a snap of herself wearing a satin magenta zip-up jacket cinched at the waist with a drawstring, along with a matching skirt and a sleek shoulder-length bob. Brunson wore this outfit, created by Sergio Hudson, during an interview on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" on Monday.
In the final photo, Brunson added a shot of herself repping the Philadelphia Eagles — her hometown team — by wearing a jersey in the crowd of a game. Captured on a TV screen, Brunson paired the black, white and green jersey with large silver hoop earrings and light glamorous makeup.
"Being an east coast cutie," she captioned her post.
In the comments section, fans were all about the "Weird: Al Yankovic" star's looks, with many noting her and iconic makeup and stunning dresses.
"Your authenticity is my inspiration as a Black woman navigating this crazy world! Thank you!!" one fan wrote.
"You are an all-coast cutie and so talented," another chimed in.
"The last pic is iconic!" raved one person.
"I love the short purple-ish number. Super cute on you. Makeup is even better," someone else added.
"Very pretty dress. Love the design and the different colours at the bottom," another fan replied.
"Super cute. Congrats again on your Emmy," someone commented.
Last week, Brunson won her first Emmy award for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series for the "Abbott Elementary" pilot. During the show, Brunson's co-star, 66-year-old Sheryl Lee Ralph, also won her first-ever Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
For the 74th annual event, Brunson wore a custom copper and bronze gown made by Dolce & Gabbana. The floor-length piece was paired with matching open-toe strappy heels, shining silver jewelry and long sheer gloves.
On "Late Night with Seth Meyers," Brunson was asked about her mom's reaction to her winning an Emmy, since she works as a teacher.
"She was super proud," Brunson shared on the talk show. "But what was sweeter was how proud my dad was. My dad doesn't watch awards shows; he doesn't care about anything. He'll watch paint dry before he watches an awards show, and he will genuinely find it more interesting.
"My sister said he was watching the Emmys like it was the Super Bowl. He watched the carpet, he watched everything leading up to it, and hearing that he was really proud of me was, perhaps, the highlight of my night. It was really sweet."
