For many across the country, September means back to school.
Although COVID-19 has made it a more strange situation than usual, the promise of reuniting with friends and returning to everyday activity is sure to excite children who’ve been longing for some kind of “normal.”
That said, things are about to look a lot different for them.
On top of physical distancing, face masks have been made mandatory in many of the provinces that have announced their coronavirus prevention plans for the school year.
The types of face coverings allowed in schools will probably change as well, but there’s no reason they can’t be made fun - right?

The clothing company is also donating 50,000 Critter Face Masks to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America - a national organization that provides voluntary after-school programs for young people in the States.
Each pack of Critter Masks includes three reusable, personal-use, non-medical-grade face coverings for kids.
Made out three-ply, woven, 100 per cent cotton poplin, each mask has elastic over-the-ear straps that are gentle enough for all-day wear.
Plus, every pack of soft, breathable masks comes with a zip-front laundry bag that’s easily washable.
To clean your little one’s mask, simply machine wash them cold and tumble dry them on low.
With 18 different styles to choose from, switching out one favourite for another is sure to be fun for your kids (and less stressful for you).

There’s only a couple of stipulations that come with purchasing Old Navy’s Critter Masks, mainly to ensure the safest wear:
Critter Masks should not be placed on young children under the age of three, especially those who have trouble breathing or are unable to remove the mask without assistance.
Wash before use.
Make sure that your child’s mask fits snugly across their face, covering their nose and mouth. It should stretch over their chin as well.
Just one more thing: there’s a limit of five packs per customer.
