Nelly Furtado stuns in metallic gown on TIFF red carpet: 'Ageless queen'
The "I'm Like A Bird" singer dazzled fans in a silvery off-the-shoulder look.
Nelly Furtado is turning heads on the TIFF red carpet.
Over the weekend, the "I'm Like a Bird" singer, 44, attended the 48th annual Toronto International Film Festival.
Furtado was honoured by the festival's 2023 Artists for Peace and Justice Gala with an award for her philanthropic work and activism.
For her appearance, the Canadian pop icon donned a metallic, ruched, long-sleeve gown with a slit and an asymmetrical off-the-shoulder neckline.
She finished off the look with silver metallic platform sandals and a chic wavy bob. Furtado's makeup featured light pink lipstick, dewy blush, pink shimmery eyeshadow and sharp black winged eyeliner.
She took to Instagram with a three-photo carousel showing off her stunning look, which was met with praise from fans in the comment section. Many swooned over Furtado's "ageless" appearance.
"Ageless queen," an Instagram user commented.
"You look absolutely stunning," another person wrote.
"You look so good. Like, you disappeared for 10 years and came back looking even better. Drop your skincare and workout routine immediately!" someone else penned.
A fan quipped: "Nelly got fine as hell!"
"This woman is even more beautiful in person," commented another, while one person chimed in, "Unreal genetics."
While speaking with Narcity on the red carpet, Furtado showed love for an unexpected "getaway" location in Markham, Ont. after being asked how she protects her anonymity when she is out in public.
"I know how to be incognito," she said. "I'll tell you — I use my hat, my sunglasses, I do my thing."
"You know, I was just saying how like if you really want to get away from the city, go to Pacific Mall," Furtado joked. "And just like, go get a new phone case or something."
