Shay Mitchell is embracing the official start of summer, and it looks like the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
In her latest post shared on Instagram, Mitchell and her eight-month-old daughter Atlas are seen lounging poolside, both relaxing comfortably (and safely) in the shade, dressed in swimsuits, sunglasses and sun hats.
“The original milk bar,” Mitchell joked in her caption, as Atlas feeds from a bottle.
Fans couldn’t get enough of the candid mother-daughter moment, and took to the comments to share some love for the adorable post.
“That's the cutest thing I've seen today!” read one comment.
“You [and] Atlas are the definition of perfection for sure! Mommy daughter goals,” added another.

Dressed in a bikini by Florida label Montce, the former “Pretty Little Liars” star accessorized her look with a black bucket hat, a pair of $94 Adornmonde gold hoop earrings, and $218 hexagonal Ray Ban sunglasses.
If you’re looking to snag the chic swimsuit for yourself, you can still shop the style for a cool $290. The swim top retails for $165 ($122 USD), while the bottoms are an additional $125 ($98 USD).

Looking for more pop in your swimsuit? The style is also available in a range of fun patterns and colours if you’re not a fan of the sleek black look.
Mitchell’s summertime photo comes right on the heels of her viral #SafeguardSplash Tik Tok challenge, where the star is seen dancing in her bathroom and washing her hands to a catchy song.
To produce the 15-second clip, Mitchell teamed up with Safeguard Soap to encourage proper hand-washing techniques in light of the current coronavirus pandemic.
“Anybody can help stop the virus,” she shared with The Newsette.
“I have a baby who can’t stop moving… and honestly, neither can I! So when I tell you that washing your hands the right way is simple, I really mean it.”
