My Mom, Sister, and I Can’t Stop Texting About This Ultra-Comfy Italian Shoe Brand

I’ve worn the brand for my wedding, my 30th birthday, and everything in between.
My mom, sister, and I are like three peas in a pod. We are very aligned on almost everything, so when I discover something I like, especially in the world of fashion and beauty, I usually text them first to tell them all about it. We communicate in German, but for the sake of understanding, I’ll translate to English—many of my messages go something like, “Mom, I found the best pair of pants… and they’re from Spanx!” But, this story isn’t about pants (I’ve told that one already); instead, this one’s about luxury Italian shoes that I pretty much live in—not to mention talk to my mom and sister about all the time.
M.Gemi is an Italian footwear label I’ve written about plenty of times, and honestly, I’ll keep writing about it, no matter how much I sound like a broken record. When I tried my first pair of M.Gemis a few years back, I was in awe. Since then, I’ve racked up a serious collection from the brand, including flats, heels, boots, and more, and now, my mom and sister are working on their collection, too.

The Danza Flats
My mom is in her mid 60s, my sister mid 30s, and I’m so close to 31 (my birthday is December 4!!!), so clearly, these shoes are ideal for everyone. Every pair we’ve tried has been a winner straight out of the box, and that’s probably because all the styles the brand offers are crafted with the finest quality Italian leathers and materials.
I especially noticed M.Gemi’s superior comfort with its best-selling Danza flats that my sister and I both swear by. Some leather ballerina flats can quite literally cut into my foot or cause blisters from a mere 500 steps (yes, really!!), but these don’t. The leather is durable but still soft, ensuring comfort from step one. Not to mention, there’s also a built-in wedge that adds just the right amount of lift. Genius!

The Cassandra Heels
The Una Flats
The latest additions to our collection were the Cassandra heels, which are easily the coolest and cutest I’ve seen in a while, and the Una flats, a game-changing ballerina you need to try. The former features an ankle strap that’s a stylish addition that’s also very practical, given it offers extra support, as well as a kitten heel that makes them wearable for long distances. Trust me! The latter is a totally unstructured flat that’s out-of-this-world comfy thanks to its ultra-flexible design that molds to your foot. I have worn them for everything from travel to date night, and they’ve held up so well.
All that to say, Italian shoes are the best (I may be biased, but it’s true!), and M.Gemi’s have never disappointed me, my mom, or my sister. Shop more styles below to see why they’re a family favorite.
