Michael Bublé says 'every day should be Mother's Day' in wife appreciation post
Michael Bublé is giving credit where credit is due.
On Wednesday, the 46-year-old Canadian singer took to Instagram to share a "hilarious" reel dedicated to his wife Luisana Lopilato, with whom he shares three children; two sons, Noah, 8, and Elias, 6, as well as a daughter, Vida, 3. The pair are currently expecting their fourth child.
"Every day should be Mother's Day," the Canadian artist captioned his video, paired with the quippy hashtags, "#comehomethekidsmissyou, #illleavethedooropen and #brunomars."
In the video, Bublé lip syncs to the aforementioned lyrics of Silk Sonic's viral song "Leave The Door Open," while two of his children wreak havoc, pulling his hair and applying lip balm to his face.
"Any other dads feel like this when their wife leaves for five minutes?" he wrote under the skit.
Fans met Bublé's post with praise for showing his wife appreciation.
"So true! Wives really do deserve all the credit 'cause this is what happens when we try to take any time to ourselves. Hahaha complete chaos. Love this!" one Instagram user commented, while another echoed, "Mamas are the glue!"
"Love this so much! Amazing dad," someone else added.
One fan weighed in: "That’s how moms feel the other 23 hours and 55 minutes in the day."
"Hilarious and adorable!" another wrote.
"This is amazing!" one person commented, alongside a laughing emoji.
Last month, fans swooned over Bublé and Lopilato's relationship after the couple made their first public appearance since announcing they're expecting a baby girl later this year. The 34-year-old actress shimmered in a long-sleeved royal blue sequinned Nadine Merabi mini dress, while Bublé proudly cradled her growing baby bump for photographers.
The pair publicly announced their pregnancy back in February in a music video for the song "I'll Never Not Love You." In a later interview on "The View," Bublé shared his son Elias's hilarious reaction to the news that he has another sibling on the way.
"We told the kids on Christmas Eve. And we told them, 'Mommy has a baby in her tummy. You're going to have a little brother or sister,'" Bublé explained. "And my 6-year-old Eli was distraught. We said, 'What's wrong?' And he said, 'Why didn't you invite us to watch when you fell in love and you made the baby?'"
"And I still, I still don't know how to answer the question," he continued, laughing. "Because obviously, they have no concept about how physically it happens. It's really cute, it's just so sweet — they just know that mommies and daddies fall in love and have the baby, so he just wants to be invited."
He added that he feels so grateful to be a father.
"I'm just so lucky to be their dad," he shared. "I just try my best to show them what we both do with our actions. Sometimes it's really simple, you just try to teach them to treat people the way you want to be treated, and that seems like the best way to show them."
