Meghan Markle is celebrating her “special and sweet” daughter Princess Lilibet with a new dessert.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, unveiled her sweet dish alongside her own mom Doria Ragland in a new Instagram video on April 2.

In what appears to be the kitchen of the Montecito, California home where she lives with Prince Harry their daughter Lilibet, 3, and son Prince Archie, 5, Meghan shared how she puts the finishing touches to the pudding, sprinkling fruit and mint leaves on top. It comes as she excitedly anticipates the first day of the products from her As ever lifestyle brand becoming available to buy from April 2.

The video shows Meghan watching in anticipation as her mother, 68, samples the dessert. “Once you get to the bottom taste all the banana,” Meghan tells Doria with a smile. Her mother is a patient judge of the new concoction, and in a light-hearted mother-daughter exchange, reserves her opinion with, “I’ll tell you when I am done.”

In the caption to the Instagram Reel, Meghan wrote, "Whipped up a special dessert with @nytcooking as we celebrate the launch of @aseverofficial today! Goodness is moments away."

“In the meantime, enjoy the recipe for our ‘Chantilly Lili’ — a delicious dessert named after our darling daughter. So so so good 🍨 As special and sweet as she is," Meghan added.

It comes a day after she shared a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of her As ever brand with a video montage, with one clip showing her stirring the contents of two pots simultaneously as she smiles and dances while dressed down in a cream sweatshirt and jeans.

The video, which featured two clips edited together, also appeared to have been filmed in the Duchess' home kitchen.

In the second clip, Meghan leans over a table to inspect the packaging for one of the As ever products, while other items from the brand — including her raspberry jam, honey and herbal teas — are displayed. "From the start to the finish. What an adventure it’s been," she captioned the instagram Reel.

She also praised "the fellas" in her team for being “the best partners” on her creative journey on the eve of the launch of the lifestyle brand. Referring to her original lifestyle blog, The Tig, she told her crew, including Jake Rosenberg, Daniel Martin and Ryan Sax, "You have supported and believed in my creative vision since The Tig, and here we are all these years later creating magic in a different way.”

Giving a taster of her brand, Meghan wrote in a newsletter this week, "Every item is inspired by the ways I show care to the people in my life, like the lemon ginger tea blend which is a fuss-free spin on the warm drink I make at home using fresh lemons from the garden. Or the crepe mix that transforms a typical weekend breakfast into a chance to reminisce. Crepes remind me of my time backpacking through France as a student."

She added, "I hope when you see what I've worked so hard to create, you're encouraged to know that whatever life brings you, you can do it too. Your value, your creativity, your joy - that is you, as it's always been and always will be. You are you - As ever, and forever."

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in March, Meghan spoke about founding her own business. “There are tons of twists and turns — even with the name,” she said. “I was figuring it out in real time.”
