Meghan Markle's two hour tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey included a glimpse into her private and peaceful life at home.
Despite the heartbreaking revelations of private suffering during her time as a senior royal, the 39-year-old Duchess of Sussex looked serene while giving Winfrey a tour of her chicken coop on the grounds of her Santa Barbara, Calif. property.

Winfrey revealed the Sussexes rescued the chickens from a factory farm as she put on a pair of wellies to join Markle and Prince Harry in what's been affectionately renamed "Archie's Chick Inn, Established 2021."
"Hi girls," Markle said cheerfully as she entered the coop with Winfrey and Harry.
According to Markle, the couple hope to live "authentically" and get "back to basics" in the new chapter of their lives which includes welcoming their second child, a daughter, this summer.
The tour of their home, which was filmed the day after the couple sat down with Winfrey at a mutual friend's house, featured a much more relaxed looking Markle.
The expectant wore jeans and white button down along with a pair of Hunter Boots and what appears to be a moss coloured jacket by J.Crew.

The look was a casual contrast to her sit-down interview look which featured a $4,700 USD black and white lotus-embroidered Armani gown.
During their conversation with Winfrey at their home, Markle drew a sweet comparison of her life to a Disney classic and reclaiming her voice.

"I was sitting in Nottingham cottage and The Little Mermaid came on...and who as an adult really watches The Little Mermaid but it came on and I was like, 'Well I'm here all the time I might as well watch this.' And I went, 'Oh my God she falls in love with the prince and because of that she loses her voice,'" Markle said. "But in the end she gets her voice back."
