McDonald's October menu has arrived with 3 new additions
It’s officially spooky season at McDonald’s, as the fast food chain has just released their autumn menu for October 2024 and we want to try everything.
Available from today for a limited time, the new autumn menu features three new items and the return of some iconic fan favourites, including the long-awaited return of the McRib.
New McDonald's 2024 menu items
Joining the menu today (16th October) are the brand new cheese bites which feature a portion of five mozzarella and emmental bites with a smoky caramelised onion flavoured breadcrumb coating, all served with BBQ Dip. And it also comes in a sharebox size too.
Also new today are two autumnal drinks we cannot wait to get our hands on, there’s the toasted marshmallow latte, which is the classic latte with an added toasted marshmallow syrup topped with whipped cream and a toasted marshmallow flavoured dusting. And if you’re not a coffee fan there’s new the toasted marshmallow hot chocolate, which seems perfect for crisp autumnal walks.
This isn’t the end of the cosy offerings either, as returning to the menu is the toffee apple pie which features the crispy pastry of the classic filled with a spiced apple compote, toffee sauce and toffee pieces. Delicious.
Also making a comeback is the halloween M&MS McFlurry which as expected features the classic dairy ice cream swirled with M&M's and halloween sugar shapes, finished with Galaxy chocolate sauce. And there’s also the Galaxy Caramel McFlurry which is made of the classic dairy ice cream which is then swirled with Galaxy chocolate pieces and completed with Galaxy caramel sauce.
Don’t have a sweet tooth? Well you’ll be pleased to know the McCrispy Deluxe, which features a chicken breast fillet in a crispy, crunchy coating topped with hot and spicy mayo, caramelised onion compote, lettuce, bacon, red onions and a cheddar cheese slice, packed into a sourdough style bun, is also returning from today.
And the biggest treat of all is the iconic McRib, which has been away for nearly 10 years, will finally be making its return to the menu.
Featuring the McRib pork patty, McRib sauce, pickles and onions served in a homestyle bun, the McRib will be available for a limited time at McDonald’s restaurants.
The good news doesn’t stop there either as McDonald’s is coming to revolutinise our lunch times by offering a new meal deal. For just £5 you can get a selected burger (cheese burger or mayo chicken), medium fries, medium soft drink and a side of four nuggets.
Honestly, lunchtime can’t come soon enough.
