Max Domi and girlfriend Estelle Philips nail '80s-inspired Halloween costumes

Max Domi and Estelle Philips are channelling the '80s.

The Toronto Maple Leafs player and his girlfriend Estelle Philips delighted fans with their '80s-inspired Halloween costume this year. Philips took to Instagram on Wednesday with a candid video showcasing their look to "Physical" by Olivia Newton-John.

Domi, son of legendary enforcer Tie Domi, fully embraced the '80s aesthetic, donning a blonde mullet wig, a pink headband, matching pink tights and wristbands and a turquoise bodysuit. He completed the look with oversized black wraparound sunglasses.

Philips complemented Domi in a pink and blue tie-dye bodysuit paired with white cutoff nylon tights, a pink shrug cardigan, a white belt and a pink headband.

The pair's coordinated costumes were met with enthusiastic applause from fans.

"Epic," an Instagram user wrote.

"Love it," someone added.

One person commented: "This is awesome!"

"Best couples costume ever," a fan penned.

"Brilliant!" wrote another.

In August, Domi and Philips celebrated her birthday in style at the Canadian National Exhibition — a summer tradition for many people in the Greater Toronto Area. She shared a heartwarming set of photos with her Instagram followers capturing the memorable day.

The post included a candid snap of Phillips smiling, while clutching a Hello Kitty plush — seemingly a prize won from one of the fair's games — and a "hilarious" caricature drawing of her and the Toronto Maple Leafs centreman.

"Best day ever," she captioned the snaps. "Thank you for all the birthday love, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world."

Domi took to his own Instagram to pay tribute to his girlfriend on her special day. "Happy birthday, beautiful! We love you," he wrote alongside a carousel of photos of the happy couple spending time outdoors.
