For as much as you love your pet, isn't their fur the worst?
Finally escaping the confines of your office or dining room after a day of working from home can be hampered by the need to lint roll your entire body.
Speaking of lint... Have you ever been able to wear a pair of black leggings without it spreading all over them?
For as many pairs of leggings there currently are on the market (more than 100,000 search results show up for women's leggings on Amazon), its a real challenge to find a pair that check all the boxes.

First, they've got to be comfortable. Second, they've got to be durable. Third, they've got to be made of quality materials (we don't want any see-through leggings here!). Fourth, they've got to be flattering (a high-waistline is preferred). And finally, pilling, pet hair and lint should not be an issue.
Sounds impossible to find, right?
Well, think again - these non-pilling leggings repel lint and pet hair, and they all come in black. Happy shopping!
90 Degree by Reflex High Waist Squat Proof Interlink Leggings
Besides providing gentle compression around the waistline, these polyester/spandex leggings are far from a fur magnet. Bonus: they're squat-proof so that you never have to worry about visible panties again.
Actual customer review: "...The other main selling point for me is I have a dog that sheds and have struggled to find legging material that won't attract pet hair. This material does not attract pet hair and any stray hairs brush right off without needing a lint roller."

Spanx Every.Wear Active Icon Leggings
These nylon leggings have a waistband-free design and are made out of anti-odour fabric to keep you fresh and that classic pet smell off of you. Even better, there's a pocketed option.
Actual customer review: "When I tried on Spanx's Every.Wear Active Icon Leggings, I assumed they'd be like every other pair of black leggings I own: comfy as hell, but alas, a fur magnet. However, this pair was so damn buttery, I threw caution to the wind and wore them on day one of quarantine. When I got up off the couch (after King Lou had been using my leg as a pillow), I realized not one spear of his fur was stuck into the fabric."

Everlane Perform Legging
Everlane Perform Legging
Made of premium fabric from a renowned Italian mill, the 58 per cent recycled nylon Perform Legging features an extra-high waist, minimal seams, and an interior pocket for convenience. Plus, they wick-away sweat instantly.
Actual customer review: "Ever since the pandemic started, I now own six pairs of these Perform Leggings. Other people wear joggers/sweatpants, I lounge around in these leggings so I can do a quick online yoga session then [go] back to work, then run on a treadmill. They’re very versatile."

Carbon38 High Rise Full-Length Legging
A great option for the gym and outings with girlfriends, these faux leather leggings also do not pill according to Schmiggy. Their nylon and lycra fabric wards off pet hair as well.
Actual customer review: "Literally the best yoga pants I've found! Not only is the colour insane, the fabric is very thin (but not see-through), so it allows for ultimate movement. My favourite part is the waistband. It's thicker so it really holds your stomach in and does not bunch down (like I've had happen on every pair of Lulu pants). I could barely get out of my class without being asked where I got them from!"
SHOP IT: Carbon38, $109
Zella Live In High Waist Leggings
According to trusted review website Schmiggy, these figure-hugging leggings do not pill. A Nordstrom shopper favourite, their moisture-wicking fabric and no-slip waistband keep you cool as your workout warms up.
Actual customer review: "My new favourite leggings. So soft and fit like a glove. No gapping, not see through. Perfect in every way. I live in leggings as I am a personal trainer and these are hands down the best!"
SHOP IT: Nordstrom, $59

Endeavor Athletic Eclipse Leggings
These leggings come highly recommended by a fitness editor at Women's Health for the fact that they "practically repel fur". Their lightweight compression fabric manages moisture evaporation and contours to the body, while a "truly high" waistband provides full-coverage.
Actual customer review: "Unlike any black tight I’ve ever worn before, these pants practically repel fur. Usually, Bentley’s long strands get weaved into the thread, but the Endeavor fabric (called Evotek) has a sleek finish that allows pet hair to glide right off with a quick swipe of your hand."
SHOP IT: Endeavor Athletic, from $20 (originally $88)
Skineez Miracle Toning Women's Capri
According to digital pet clinic Pawp, pet hair causes no issues when wearing these capris. Crafted from a patented compression fabric that's infused with five different moisturizers including shea butter, retinol, apricot kernel oil, vitamins A and E, and rosehip oil, they have major anti-aging benefits.
To maintain their potency, re-infuse them with Skineez Garment Spray after 10 washings and they'll be good as new.
Actual customer review: "I was extremely skeptical of these 'moisturizing' compression leggings — but they actually helped me with winter dryness... Thanks to these infusions, the capris are the softest and most comfortable leggings I've tried yet, and I'm glad I gave them a chance."
SHOP IT: Skineez, $38
