Lauren Ash is sharing a long-awaited moment with the Blue Jays.
The "Superstore" actress took to Instagram to share a throwback photo of her younger self sporting a white Blue Jays jersey with a Blue Jays cap and a baseball bat.
Next to it, the Belleville, Ont.-native shared a recent photo of herself at the stadium, preparing to throw the opening pitch for her favourite team. Ash wore the Blue Jays' blue jersey with black shorts and white sneakers.
She captioned her post: "How it started/ How it's going" and tagged the Toronto baseball team.
Fellow Canadian influencers rushed to the comments to give kudos to Ash's moment. "Yesss," wrote body-confidence influencer Sarah Nicole Landry, also known as The Birds Papaya.
Self-love content creator Kenzie Brenna chimed in with "so cool," along with clapping emojis.
The actress's fans loved her childhood photo.
"Your kid photo is too cute!" commented one Instagram user. "Looks exactly how I would imagine Dina to look as a child (except I feel like she would’ve had a mullet for some reason)," they added, referencing her "Superstore" character.
"Omg Lauren little you is killing me with that smile. So. Damn. Cute," another wrote.
The throwback came three days after Ash shared the video of her first ever pitch at a big game.
"I didn’t think that getting to throw the first pitch could be more thrilling," she captioned the first post. She added the stadium then played her new single, "Now I Know."
"Thank you to the [Blue Jays] for making this a truly wonderful experience," she continued.
