Khloé Kardashian rocks '70s-inspired look for Oscars party circuit: 'She is slaying'
Khloé Kardashian took a page out of Hollywood history with her latest '70s-inspired look.
On Monday, the 37-year-old took to Instagram to share photos of the outfit she wore to Jay-Z's exclusive Oscars after-party at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, Calif. on Sunday night. Aside from Kardashian, the star-studded gathering featured A-list guests like Rihanna, Zoë Kravitz and Diddy.
"'Scarface' - Elvira energy," she captioned a carousel of photos, referencing the 1983 film starring Al Pacino. The reality star and Good American founder posed in a sparkling silver bodycon mini dress by Celia Kritharioti holding a crystal clutch and sporting a retro-inspired blonde bob.
The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star's post was met with praise from fans who loved the timeless look.
"Omg. I wasn’t ready!" one person wrote, while another added, "Damn, I want that wig and dress. She is slaying."
"Love this look on you so much!" another wrote. "The dress is stunning, and the short hair is gorgeous on you."
"Revenge body at its finest," another chimed in.
"Is there any hair style you don’t suit Khloé?" a follower asked.
"That outfit and you!" someone else wrote.
Kardashian's hairstylist, César DeLeön Ramîrez, also took to Instagram to shed some light on the fresh new look, revealing that she didn't actually cut her hair.
"The inspiration was Parisian Bob/ Michelle Pfeiffer in 'Scarface,'" Ramîrez shared. "Khloé loves when I give her a short bob because I can do it either using extensions or wigs and cut them short into a bob so she doesn't have to commit to cutting her hair short."
Kardashian has been known to love styling her hair on the shorter side. In 2018, her stylist Andrew Fitzsimons helped her transform her long locks into an "ultra-modern, sleek blunt bob with no layers."
"She loves her bob a little longer in the front, just tapering the shoulder. And very, very blunt. We left it a little longer for the moment, but may cut a little shorter soon," he said in an interview with People. "She was so happy and loved it. She had long hair for long, I think this was a really liberating move for her."
