Kate Beckinsale is letting fans in on her secret to staying in such great shape.

The 48-year-old "Serendipity" actress took to Instagram on Wednesday to demonstrate her impressive, gravity-defying ab workout. In the video, Beckinsale hangs from her knees and performs an upside down crunch multiple times.

The intense workout video received praise from fans, who credited the star with providing their daily workout motivation.

"I would fall off and break my neck in like three seconds if I attempted that," one Instagram user joked.

"Badass!" someone wrote, while another added, "Impressive."

"A breathtakingly beautiful beast," a follower dubbed the star.

"Kate you are amazing!" a fan wrote. "What a badass, beautiful woman."

"My abs were aching just watching that," someone said of the "damn impressive" routine.

"Already perfect and still putting in work!" another said.

Despite her rigorous workout, Beckinsale isn't always keen to hit the gym. In 2021, the actress told Shape that she likes to get her workouts out of the way first thing in the morning.

"I basically wake up, eat breakfast, and then work out. I prefer to get it done in the morning," the star said. "That said, I don't naturally get up early. It would be much better for me if the entire world went to bed at 4 a.m. and woke up at noon. But it doesn't, so I'm usually staggering around first thing."

Beckinsale has called working out "nature's antidepressant," and although she loves yoga, she's seen the most results with "hardcore" workouts.

"I do circuit training interspersed with brutal cardio, such as crazy things on a non-motorized treadmill. That part is torture," Beckinsale said. "But the thing I like about circuit training is that you're never doing one thing for very long. You get to the point where you almost can't bear it, and it changes to something else."
