When it comes to red carpet appearances, celebrities are known to pull out all the stops in order to look their very best.
Often that includes questionable diets and expensive facial treatments (vampire facial anyone?), but one trend that’s been making its way through Hollywood is LED light therapy. What started as a service only available through dermatologists has now made its way into glam squad routines of celebrities like "The Flight Attendant" star Kaley Cuoco.
Ahead of the 2021 Golden Globe Awards, Cuoco’s makeup artist Jamie Greenberg shared a snap of the former “Big Bang Theory” star in the midst of a full hair and makeup transformation.

While getting red carpet ready, the 35-year old was seen relaxing with a CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask.
The mask, which normally retails for $600 CAD ($400 USD), is currently on sale for $479 ($355 USD).
What is it?
The silicone face mask is reported to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as improve skin’s tone, texture and firmness in just four weeks.
Using the power of anti-aging red light and near infra-red light therapy, it stimulates the skin’s natural rejuvenation process, creating a complexion that is visibly glowing and noticeably healthier looking.
Along with Cuoco, other famous fans of the brand include Renee Zellweger, Gal Gadot, and model Suki Waterhouse
What others are saying
Aside from its celebrity fans, customers are also loving the mask’s effects, and it’s already earned a 4.6 star rating from hundreds of shopper reviews.
“This mask is brilliant, it's so easy to use and very comfortable due to it being made of silicone, unlike the hard LED masks. I've only been using it for three weeks now, but my skin looks fresher and absorbs my creams more easily when applied after using,” reads one five-star review.

“I am obsessed with this product. I've been seeing so many before and after photos of others and seeing all the stars using this Infrared LED pad,” reads another. “I have to say I am impressed. It's very relaxing to use.”
The verdict
The only downside to this mask seems to be that it sometimes slips down your face while in use, and can require some adjustments in order to ensure that it stays securely in place.
If you’re looking to upgrade your skincare routine, the CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask is certainly a splurge, but according to its legions of fans it’s definitely worth the investment - especially when you can score it on sale.
