Following a slew of high-profile clothing collections – most recently courtesy of Harry Styles' stylist Harry Lambert, A* Cold Wall founder Samuel Ross, and ex-Saint Laurent designer Stefano Pilati – Zara has announced what is possibly its most exciting collaboration to date.

The high-street giant is joining forces with the supermodel and fashion icon Kate Moss, who will design an exclusive capsule for the brand just in time for the festive season. Naturally, we're counting down the days already.

Due to launch online and in stores on November 30, the Zara x Kate Moss collection will centre around partywear, and include clothes and accessories that reflect her inimitable, cool-girl style.

'For this collection, I wanted to create the perfect party capsule – pieces that feel effortlessly chic but with an edge,' Moss explained in a press release on Friday. 'Mixing classic cuts with just the right amount of glam to take you through the party season.'

She continued: 'I’ve enjoyed working with Zara on campaigns over the years and always loved their collaborations so when Marta [Ortega Pérez, president of Zara owner Inditex] and I first talked about this project I was excited… getting to design clothes again and work with Katy England.'

At this stage, details about the collaboration are still scant, but the mention of Katy England's involvement gives us some idea of what to expect. The legendary British stylist is best-known for her work at Alexander McQueen – she was Lee McQueen's right-hand, muse and close collaborator for over a decade – and synonymous with the skinny jeans, all-black-everything, rock 'n' roll, rebellious aesthetic of Nineties and early-Noughties London.

Most recently, England worked on emerging designer Aaron Esh's SS25 collection, that offered up exactly that: think leather jackets, slim-fit tailoring, silky slips, sheer tops and skinny scarves aplenty. With this in mind, we're thinking (read: praying) Kate Moss' upcoming Zara collection will be equally as nostalgic and sexy, with a few glamorous sparkles thrown in for good measure. As we eagerly await further information, one thing's for sure: we know exactly what we'll be wearing come party season.
