Jennifer Lawrence’s Baby Bump Just Made Its Red Carpet Debut
Jennifer Lawrence made her fabulous return to the red carpet this Wednesday evening, baby bump and all.
The Oscar-winning actor, who is expecting her second child with husband Cooke Maroney, was glowing in a snow-white wrap coat-dress at an AFI Fest 2024 screening event in Hollywood. The dress had a sharp neckline, short sleeves, and black buttons that held it together along the centre. Lawrence wore it off one shoulder, and cinched it at the waist with a black leather belt that further marked her growing belly.

She coordinated her shoes—a pair of chic black oval-shaped heels—to match the black accents on her dress, and accessorised only with a white gold watch and her diamond engagement ring from Maroney. Apart from debuting her baby bump, the No Hard Feelings star debuted a brand new, super chic hairdo composed of a straight, choppy ends and romantic curtain bangs. For makeup, the Dior ambassador added a slick black liner and a natural glossy lip, as well as a beige manicure.
The appearance marked Lawrence’s first red carpet since she confirmed her second pregnancy. Her announcement came one day after she was spotted stepping out to dinner in Los Angeles with her bump peeking out.
Lawrence and Maroney are already parents to a two-year-old son, Cy, whom they welcomed in February 2022. 'It’s so scary to talk about motherhood. Only because it’s so different for everybody,' Lawrence shared in an interview that same year. 'The morning after I gave birth, I felt like my whole life had started over. Like, now is day one of my life. I just stared. I was just so in love.'
