After nearly 50 years as an icon in the world of health and wellness, Jane Fonda has learned a thing or two about creating a relaxing nighttime routine.
In a recent interview with SELF, the “Grace and Frankie” star revealed some of her best-kept secrets for a restful night’s sleep, which includes CBD oils to help soothe her osteoarthritis and a handful of luxury skincare products. However, some of the 83-year-old's go-to bedtime products are surprisingly affordable.
One standout is the Weleda Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Body Cream, a top-rated lotion that retails for just $18.

“Around 6 p.m. I put Weleda Skin Food on my legs and arms,” Fonda said. “I used to get way too much sun, and on my legs and arms the skin gets dry, so I use a very rich cream.”
Amazon customers have echoed Fonda’s praise for the Weleda body cream, calling it “amazing for dry skin,” and a “holy grail” product. Backed by more than 16,000 customer reviews, the cream has an impressive 4.6-star rating thanks to its luxurious moisturizing effect.
Fonda isn't alone in her love for Weleda, the lotion also counts celebrities like Heidi Klum and Julia Roberts among its other famous fans.
After applying her skincare, Fonda revealed that she usually heads to bed pretty early, around 6:30 or 7 p.m., but will stream movies or TV shows before going to sleep at about 9:30 or 10 p.m.
"See, I live by myself. I don't have a husband or a lover, so I can kind of do whatever I want," she admitted. "I have a bed where you can lift up the head and lift up the feet. You know, like a hospital bed. It's a very comfortable mattress. So I raise the head and I raise the feet, and I start to watch television."

Another one of Fonda's secrets for a good night’s sleep once she's in bed? A weighted blanket.
“For Christmas, my niece, Bridget Fonda, gave me a weighted blanket,” she shared. "They give them to people who suffer from anxiety, which I don't. I just like the feeling of weight on me. I go to sleep so easily, and I sleep all night, and it's divine.”
