IMO, skincare 🤝 Black Friday. That's right, Black Friday isn't just for laptops and shiny TV's, this shopping extravaganza is the best time to score some unreal skincare deals – and we know how expensive skincare is nowadays, so times like these are a needs must!!
If you're not au fait with Black Friday, let me fill you in. This isn't some mediocre sale period where only the leftovers are reduced. This is the best time of year where brands slash the prices, by even up to 50% off +, of their best-selling products.
As for skincare, it's the perfect time to tick off those items that've been collecting dust on your wish-list for months. The Ordinary does Black Friday a little differently, and I'm so on board for it. Rather than spamming you with last-minute deals to encourage unnecessary spending, the brand is offering a 23% off sale which lasts the entirety of November – which is now, like right now!
Yes, you read that right. You have a whole month to decide what skincare is best for you and to do a little research before you invest. So what will it be? The newly-formulated HA serum or a classic like the niacinamide serum. The Ordinary then closes the site on the day of Black Friday.
The Inkey List
The Inkey List is home to many best-selling faves (hello, Oat Cleansing Balm) so Black Friday is the perf time to stock up on the products you love – as I'm sure you've already got some hero formulas in your everyday routine.
As for the discounts? The Inkey List has already kicked off its Black Friday sale with a 25% off site-wide sale from now to 1 December. That's nearly a whole month to finalise your shopping cart.
LookFantastic
LookFantastic is another e-tailer home to some great skincare brands, ranging from names you'd find on the high-street to those found inside glossy department stores. With budget-friendly names available, like Cetaphil and CeraVe, it's a great retailer to stock up on your everyday essentials. Or invest a little more into brands like Medik8 and 111Skin to make a generous gift.

With so much choice, delvininto CB's Black Friday sale is, IMO, the perfect time to sort out X-mas pressies for the skincare fanatic in your life.

Space NK
It's always a treat to wander up and down the isles of a Space NK store (if I could call it a hobby, I would). But when it comes to Black Friday, you bet I'll be logging online to score some big deals on my fave brands.
Topping up on what I like to call my 'special occasion' skincare, I'll be 👀-ing up names like Tatcha, Medik8 and Fresh. As for the discounts, last year Space NK hosted a sale of up to 25% off which started on Tuesday 21 November and continued through to Cyber Monday.
Glossier
When you think of Glossier, your mind probably goes to the playful packaging and glow-giving formulas of its cosmetic items, but know that the brand has some stellar skincare, too.
If you're an OG Glossier stan, you've probably tried many of its popular skincare products before, be it the After Baume or Futuredew. But if you haven't tried its glowy formulas before, Black Friday is your chance!
Last year, the retailer offered an up to 25% off site-wide sale, which also included adorable gift sets! And while the IRL Covent Garden store is *incred* to wander around, you may as well save the queue time and shop the sale right below.

If you're unfamiliar with the glorious concept that is Beauty Pie, allow me to enlighten you! Essentially it's like Amazon Prime for beauty lovers. When you sign up to Beauty Pie you get access to its high-quality products, that without the membership, would cost more.
The retailer is remaining tight-lipped on what to expect from its Black Friday deals this year, but if it's anything like last, you can expect some great things. As the brand's products are already discounted, Beauty Pie does things a little differently by offering promo codes, free sign-ups and limited-edition products for members to shop.
Dr Sam's
Dr Samantha Bunting is one of our fave experts, so if you're struggling with your skin this winter, turn to her eponymous skincare line to help you out.

Sol de Janeiro
If you've never caught a whiff of any Sol de Janeiro scent, I feel bad for you – like genuinely. Each fragrance is under the Cheirosa line, which translates to "smell incredibly delicious" and after smelling every scent myself, I agree on all counts. Whether its the classic Cheirosa 67 or one of the brand's newer scents, each one is addictive as the next.
There are many Sol de Janeiro discounts to find during Black Friday, but LookFantastic always puts on an epic one which knocks the price of the Perfume Mists to £18, down from £24.
What is Black Friday?
If you don't know what Black Friday is (erm, what rock have you been hiding under?) let me fill you in. The shopping extravaganza started in '30s USA with luxury department store Macy's putting on an epic sale to make the most of Thanksgiving – clever, I know. The name 'Black Friday' didn't come until the '80s when big-time brands wanted to make the most of everyone's pre-Christmas shopping sprees.
Skip to today and the tradition still remains; each year we mark our calendars while brands mark down their prices for some major Pre-Christmas spending. What's better? While the event began as an IRL thang, we can now participate in Black Friday in the most comfortable way: from bed.
When is Black Friday 2024?
Black Friday usually lands on the last Friday of November, marking this Black Friday as the November 29. What's even better, the sales will usually continue through to the Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Cyber Monday) so you don't have to panic buy everything on the Friday. Add these dates to your cart and prepare yourself as some brands choose to drop deals ahead of time!
