A very rare chance to save £££ on Dyson's famous hair tools
We all have ride-or-die hair treatments. For me, it's the Olaplex No3 Hair Mask and the Kérastase Elixir Ultime Hair Oil (mwah 😘). But expensive taste comes with expensive price tags – and nothing is more frustrating than banging on the end of the bottle to squeeze out the last drop.
Luckily, Black Friday is nearing and alongside swanky laptops, there are also some epic hair deals to get your strands on. Most brands participate in the sale, whether that's big e-tailers like Cult Beauty or names like ghd and Fenty Hair, so you can stock up on all your fave treatments for *much* less.

What is Black Friday?
Only like the best shopping extravaganza of the year?! Black Friday originally started in the states, back in the '30s, with the luxe department store Macy's launching a pre-Xmas sale. The term Black Friday wasn't coined until the '80s when other retailers jumped onto the hype, knocking back their prices to encourage shoppers.
Today, the tradition remains strong and it's the most famous discounted shopping event of the year. What's even better? This isn't a small end-of-season sale to clear out stock, brands slash the prices of best-selling items that people actually want to buy.
When is Black Friday?
Black Friday traditionally falls on the last Friday of November so, ppl, it's time to add a date to the diary: Friday 29 November 2024. But here's the exciting thing, the sales tend to last all through the weekend and into Cyber Monday so you have a few days to make the most of the discounts – or to umm and ahh about what to buy!

What hair care brands are expected to have a Black Friday sale?
Tbh, it's too early to say exactly what brands will drop Black Friday deals but, as a pro-shopping writer (yes, thank you), I can give you a pretty good guess-timate based on previous years.
Big-boi brands like Cult Beauty will always offer a blanket discount, while I'm expecting to see at least 25%-off offerings from names like ghd and Hello Klean. You bet I'll be stocking up on all my essentials (read: shampoos and conditioners) but if there's one brand I wanna treat myself too, it's Fenty Hair. We're yet to find out if the brand is gonna drop a sale, so stay tuned to this page as I have my peepers peeled for ya!
ghd
If your creaky straightener needs an upgrade, you can't get much better than levelling up with ghd. It goes without saying that the brand's hot tools are unmatched, but I can also say that they come with a price to prove it – which is why I hang about for Black Friday to invest.
And guys, wake up. Because GHD has started its Black Friday deals a month early in 2024. RN, you can score up to 25% off its best-selling stylers which includes, wait for it, the brand-new Duet Blowdry. Yep, I think my heart skipped a beat. That's taking the price from £379 to £279.
Shark Beauty
Ask anyone: I <3 my Shark FlexStyle. A great alternative to the Dyson Airwap, the tool takes your lengths from dry to fully styled with just one gadget – oh, and without the nearly £500 price tag of the Airwrap.
For a limited time only, the Shark FlexStyle has £70 off in the brand's Black Friday event, taking its price from £269.99 to £199.99.
Other than the FlexStyle, the brand has some excellent hair dryers and hot brushes to create salon-like finishes. While they're cheaper than the likes of ghd, I never turn down events like Black Friday to score an even better deal.
Sephora
Sephora's Black Friday sale has kicked off with its preview event. Cleverly, this 20% off sale is a teaser to the main showcase which, based on previous years, could see reductions of up to 50%.
So what's on offer? If you've ever stepped foot in a Sephora you'll know that its hair care range is unmatched. There are luxury brands like Kérastase and Dyson that are loved by experts all over, as well as Cosmo approved names like Color Wow and Olaplex. Now's a chance to try out some new treatments that've been on your wish list, or if you're shopping for an essential, I bet you'll find it with a lovely discount.
Dyson
If you've ever longed for a Dyson hair tool but practically shed a tear at the price tag, there's no better time than Black Friday to knock some big pennies off the price tag.
Dyson has already kicked off its sale, with major reductions on the Corrale Straightener (was £399.99, now £299.99) and Supersonic hair dryer (was £329.99, now £279.99). I know what you're thinking, what's the deal on the Airwrap? We're yet to see a discount, but we know one is bound to come in so pay attention to this page. Dyson deals are hard to come by after all!
Hello Klean
If you don't know Hello Klean, get to know. We place so much emphasis on the products we take into the shower but never consider the water we're using to rinse away the suds. Hard water, which is most common in London and the South, is rich in heavy metals which deposit onto the hair, causing it to become dry and brittle.
Hello Klean's shower filters solve this problem by sifting out the metals that not only damage the hair, but can cause skin problems too, like dryness and eczema. Keep an eye out for its Black Friday sale as last year we were treated to up to 30% off.
Cult Beauty
While Black Friday is a great time to save on spennier formulas, like serums and reparative treatments, I use it to stock up on the products I never wanna spend full price on, like shampoo and conditioner.
There are so many popular hair brands to covet at Cult Beauty, from the likes of Color Wow and Ouai to Gisou and Olaplex, so the (usually) 25% off Black Friday sale will be put to good use I'm sure!
Fenty Hair
Yerp, Rihanna's haircare line, Fenty Hair, is a Cosmo fave – and not just because of the pretty packaging and sweet-smelling formulas but because they contain a blend of amino acids, proteins, and antioxidants to hydrate and strengthen the hair. Okay, Riri!
This is the first Black Friday since Fenty Hair graced our beauty routines, so I can't be sure what the deals will be 👀. But as soon as the goss is told, you'll be the first to know.
Coco and Eve
Spend ten minutes on TikTok and I guarantee you'll come across Coco and Eve. The hair brand is no stranger to a viral sensation (hello, Miracle Hair Elixr) so Black Friday is the best time to invest if you're keen to try!
Last year, Coco and Eve gave us one of the biggest Black Friday deals around: up to 50% off site-wide. But if you just can't hold off 'till then, the brand is currently offering 30% off its shampoo and conditioner sets. Y'know, just to warm up your debit card.
Philips
If you fancy de-fluffing your bod but don't wanna drop those hefty salon prices, it's worth investing in an IPL device. Tbh, the initial price tag of these tools do sting, but in the long run they'll save you SO much dolla on professional appointments.
Here's the exciting thing. Black Friday IPL/epilator deals are some of the best I've seen, sometimes cutting hundreds of pounds off of these gizmos. So if you're keen to invest, defs check out the Philips Black Friday sale: it hasn't dropped yet, but last year I saw some mega deals and I'm hoping for the same in 2024.
UK Lash
You'll be hard pressed to find many affordable lash serums that actually deliver results, but UK Lash breaks the rules. And, with Black Friday on the horizon, you'll save more on its already petite price tag.
Its formula contains high-grade ingredients, like pentapeptide-17 and vitamin B7, to promote hair growth by stimulating keratin (protein) production. If you don't believe me, just check out the incredible before-and-after pics.
