Hilary Duff's casual summer style includes tie-dye and these $58 Lululemon shorts

Ever the relatable celebrity, Hilary Duff recently stepped out in Los Angeles in everyone’s favourite style combo of the summer: tie-dye and bike shorts.

While out and about with her 8-year-old son Luca, Duff pulled off two of this season’s hottest trends when sporting a pair of coral shorts and a pastel tie-dyed T-shirt.

The retro-inspired trend has become a staple for the “Younger” actress lately, who admitted that she’s taken it up as one of her newfound hobbies since beginning to shelter in place with her family back in March.

“I started tie-dyeing, which has been really fun,” the 32-year-old told POPSUGAR. “When [the kids] go to bed at night, I go outside, pour a glass of wine, and just tie-dye my little heart out."

While the tie-dyed shirt may be of her own creation, Duff’s bike shorts hail from none other than Lululemon.

Made from the same buttery-soft Nulu fabric as the brand’s original Align leggings, they’ve already become an instant fan favourite among Lululemon customers.
