As a busy mom of two, Hilary Duff knows that running around after your children can be a workout.
When she’s not on screen, the 32-year-old “Lizzie McGuire” star is a frequent fan of athleisure looks, and spotted wearing what’s often considered a go-to uniform for most moms: leggings, sneakers and pullover sweatshirt.

One of the busy mom-of-two’s recent favourites are the Perform Legging, an ultra lightweight, high-waisted compression tight from sustainable fashion brand Everlane. Duff has been photographed wearing the brand’s leggings in Brandy Rose with a cozy City Girl Track Pullover from Alo. For a true celeb-take, Duff paired the look with gold hoop earrings and layers of gold bracelets.
The Perform Leggings are made from 58 per cent recycled nylon and manufactured in Everlane’s factory in Kandy, Sri Lanka. Not only does the company do good for the environment, but it ensures its employees work in ethical facilities committed to community development by providing financial and health education to their more than 70,000 employees, most of whom are women.

“When I tried them on the first time, I thought they were a bit too lightweight for my personal needs,” said Yahoo Canada Style managing editor Hilary Hagerman. “ As someone who rarely works out and whose exercise is limited to walking my dog (a lot), I tend to gravitate towards heavier leggings that I don’t worry about pulling or tearing. However, the second time I put these on, I started to see why some of my other teammates love these leggings. They’re so comfortable and lightweight — and they honestly hold up quite well, and are warmer than expected. I wore them on a recent snowy hike with my dog and they kept me warm and dry.”

Moving into spring and summer, the Perform Legging would work well for warmer temperatures for outdoor workouts or even hot-yoga classes. These leggings, being on the thinner side, are best paired with seamless underwear in skin-toned colours, like the Everlane ReNew Thong.
